The Greatest Comic Ever?

Fresh from the laffs of Carlos Mendias from the last posting, me though me post a couple of classic clips of the late, great Bill Hicks.

Many consider him the greatest comic to ever ply the trade. Better than Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy et al. The fact he passed on at the age of just 32 meant that his legacy is unsullied by shit sit-coms or movies.

Thing about him is that so often his monologues make complete sense & ye finds yerself nodding in agreement at the complete absurdity of things.

Fer those of ye unfamiliar with his work, me hopes these clips will spur ye to look further. The word 'genius' is often misused but not so in the case of Bill Hicks.

Don't know bout you but the Monday blues is stretching into Tues & looks set to continue well into the fooking week fer moi. With me mind in such a state, haven't got much to add postings wise & most certainly don't want to analyse the weekends fooking results in too great a detail. I feel fooking sick enough as it is.

So have taken the liberty to continue on the theme below by adding two more Darth Vader spoof vids. In view of Premo's complaint bout the lack of editing at Peter Serafinowicz effort, the first one (above) is pretty short & sweet. Some of you may have seen the second vid below as it was posted on Nick M's blog some time ago & was much loved by me colleagues who still quote dialogue from it. Its a hilarious Lego job coupled with Eddie Izzard's fooking fantastic monologue.

If like me, you are still having a fooking shitty week, really hope you will take the time to watch both the vids & hope it brightens yer horizon somewhat. Cheers.

Laughter fer yer Monday Blues . . .

I fooking hate Mondays. The pile up of work & the general fooking grey vibe of Mondays generally don't go down well with me unless a) Liverpool have won over the weekend or b) Tues is a public holiday. Its none of the above so I'm in a less than charitable mood.

Am sure loads of you share me grumpy start-of-a-work-week sentiments, so I decided to post this very short vid fer a bit of light relief. Do watch it as its only 26 secs long & is fooking hilarious.
