Respect the Elderly . . .

Hugh Hefner, the 84-year-old founder of Playboy magazine, has announced that he is to be married for the third time. In a message to his Twitter followers on Christmas Day, Hefner said he had given his 24-year-old girlfriend, model Crystal Harris, a ring.

"Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring," he clarified in a later tweet.
Hefner set up Playboy magazine in 1953, and Harris featured in it as Playmate of the Month in December 2009.

The soft-porn magnate and libertarian has been married twice before - to Mildred Williams in 1949, and Kimberley Conrad in 1989. Over the decades he has admitted affairs with dozens of Playmates. But last April Hefner and Harris reportedly "became exclusive".

"When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears," Hefner told Twitter followers.
"This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory." For her part, Harris told Twitter followers simply: "The most memorable Christmas ever." (From the BBC)

There must be something special about this 24 yr old hotty. I mean, i'm sure Mr Hefner has screwed most of his playmates and yet he's emotionally attached to this girl.

what a life huh chief? :)

people have different viewpoints on how they should live their lives. i've always been a constant admirer of folks who do their own thing, with a passion that is an bottomless well..and make choices in life and decision on what suits them on the inside, not being preoccupied with what the world outside perceives them to be..or general societal norms. some people call it being selfsih bordering on the narcisstic. In a derelict contradiction, my viewpoint being...how happpy can one be, if they are not doing something they themselves perceive as not liking.

the admiration stems from 2 roots:
a) the believe that if one indulges in something that they really have a passion, interest and unbound indulgence for - there would be higher probability of achieving personal success, heck even monetary wealth. at the very least - there's always that cliffburton bassladen feeling of personal/self-gratification (caveat: not at the expense/harm of others)

b) the self-loathing fact that dufusses like dun have the freakin guts to jump in the fire. truth be told: stuff in (a) requires guts. loads of 'em. especially when it's intertwined with the need to survive and carik makan; raise kids; lookin for a roof in current bloated property rates and yes even buying a goddamn washing machine. cibai.

why moz the triggerhappy burst of farktrospectiveness?

it's the admiration. seein a person live their lives, always draws an awe; moral values and whatsrightorwrong aside.
who seems to give a fark nowadays in general. most selfworth is measured in monetary aspects.

that having said: we need to carik makan. an inexpicable fact that we have to live with..but
hopefully we can
work around.

soundtrack for hef da mon for this moment with newbie:

"...heavenllly viooyyllet rosess...whispperrr..to mee...whehn we...kiss..." - sweet jane. VU.

yours appreciatively,
moz.

p.s. in blatant unabashed loureed / VU mode this whole week. bloody weather.
