Alternative

Nay more waxing, nay more fooking stone chips, nay more agonising over faded paintjobs.

This certainly looks like a very viable alternative.

Shop is new & is offering attractive price schemes to draw in patrons.

Anyone game to try this?

senorita: that's cool. everyone's got their own tastes.

And yes, completely agree that making yer car shine is very much part of the joys of car ownership.

Though the heart aches when yerhard work waxing the car is destroyed by flying pebbles etc etc.

I happent to think this look is quite cool though . . .

afif: Carbon stickers are available in ALL colours - matte or shiny.

Bugger even offered to do me car in CHROME!!! Ha ha!

AD: Me has seen many cars with these "stickers" on the road these days.

i don't quite like it coz it lacks the shine lah. Especially black cars. I am not sure how shiny they can go with black, but the ones i saw were the dull kind of black.

In me mazda club, one guy has got a black mazda, with reflective sticker that is also black (or very dark grey rather). So during day you cannot see anything (well if you look closely can lah... but from a distance cannot see lah), but at night when you shine a bright light at it, it lights up and glows. That is something me may consider....

achilles: Me hasn't gone to the shoppe yet meself but was told that they are both 'shiny' & 'matte' finishes.

Wot ye've seen is probably the matte black whihc is all the rage these days.

Am seriously considering this meself coz stone chips, vandals (BASTERDS!) & water streaks have made the Monster's paintwork look a bit fooked up.
