Mrs Munster: No, wot me said was that original idea was to upgrade wifey's car to accomodate new arrival. INSTEAD this happened . . .

ps: Please make sure ye buy TONS of LFC stuff fer ye boys. This is known as a PROPER UPBRINGING!

Nick: 24 April @ Chong's.

AD: wow. Awesome choice. Pick up is awesome. Cannot catch even with me mazda. Tried many times. And it looks in mint condition, but have to see it in person. Spare parts how? Expensive or not? What year? How much you paid? But still good choice lah.

senorita: We also ordered a Recaro baby seat fer Master Seth . . .

tinesh: Pls see if there are decent lobang fer Fiat spares in Oz. The botique looks pretty cool & if me knew ye were coming back would have asked ye to buy some stuff fer me. Nevermind, see ye this sat?

premo: Ye punya Triton dah sampai?

senorita.. said...

RECARO?!

i wanted to utter 'nicer' words, but. . . . lucky Master Seth.

anfield devotee said...

Aha ha ha ha senorita! Actually, the Recaro was the cheaper option.

Buy one unit which will last till he is much older @ RM1700. The cheaper baby seat is RM800 but much change three times, which works out to be more expensive.

Besides, if Master Seth's daddy & mummy are sitting on recaros, he too should have that privilege, don'tcha think?

premo said...

AD: YESSSSS!

Tinesh said...

Eh?? I'm coming back only in dec la dude. I'll see if I can find any good shops

senorita.. said...

wahhh kids nowadays... banyak enjoy hidup oh...

premo: So how's the ride? Taken it thru its paces ala Paris-Dakkar? Do bring it along this sat fer a show & tell.

Tinesh: Thought ye were here fer a short break as ye indicated ye'd be joining us on sat. Anyways, do keep an eye peeled fer the Fiat boutique. Some really cool stuff there.

senorita: Look at this way. Ye don't wanna to be spoiling the ride's look with some pastel-coloured el cheapo baby seat rite?

senorita.. said...

ok ok

no matter how old u are, must always ride in style... =)

So this is how marriage life works right? Prioritise on your needs and fancy first and wife only comes after that. Thanks for the tip boss!

Premo: Wah... new "beast" on the road. Must check it out this Saturday and go for a spin.

anfield devotee said...

kerp: Errrr . . . quite the contrary macha. As far as me is concerned, it is getting to share yer hobbies & passions with yer wifey. And buying something nice fer her usually works . . .

achilles: Yup, make sure ye bring yer mazda as well. Gua belum tengok interior lagi.

Kerp (Ph.D) said...

Tried that bro, and the only thing she dug about footie was Robert Pires!

MadCat said...

Amen. Amen.

I told my roommate about you buying this for wifey.

His reply - "I will NEVER buy a car this great for a woman. She'll prolly juz crash it..."

Hahhaha. I hate to say this, but he's got a point...from what I know about most women & cars (psst corp comm aunties).

Guess balajii's wifey must be something else then!

anfield devotee said...

kerp: Not just footie la, films, graphic novels, try to find some common ground la.

Anyhow, with regards to this car, me merely suggested it & asked her to keep an open mind when she test drive it. Needless to say, vehicle sold itself on the test drive.

Madcat: have implored her to treat this baby almost as good as the real baby . . .

Achilles said...

AD: I can come only after 10... OK or not? Hope all of you are not passed out on the floor or something by the time i arrive.

Yes Yes, mazda will be making appearance... can race with Premo's new beast. hehehehee

anfield devotee said...

Achilles: eh? Don't want to race with me? Apo pulak? Old car tak layak ah?

weiyin69 said...

Wowwee! Those are your new wheels? When I go back to KL (hopefully some time later this year), I'll take a spin in it and see if that curse is still there (remember how your cars had this tendency to break down when I was in them??)!

anfield devotee said...

weiyin: yes . . . am afraid . . . very afraid.

premo said...

AD & Achilles: Hahaha sure I will, u guys can test drive. But no racing la! This one is built for brute strength and durability not speed...tho it does put in quite a walloping on the rev when the turbo intercooler kicks in :) I'm lovin it!!

Much thx also to AD for advising me to stick to manual instead of auto

anfield devotee said...

premo: MANual fer real men . . .

weiyin: ps - this car is wifey's. Not mine though me gets to tumpang glamour!

Bernard said...

Bager, you fellas are gonna turn Sat nite party into a red neck fest or what? Booze, fast cars & pick up truck. Only thing missing is the fast women & wrestling...

@ Rajan : OK, will let Doris know to keep the food warm for you. Some more after training, you should have quite an appetite.

ke hadapan, gostan and sideparking tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian,

am in a wee bit of distress, need a favour from all and sundry in FFS where possible wondering if anyone can help out. i need to track down a handphone number. it's one of those errant numbers thats beginning to harass (like in a really inconvenient way)

its celcom-based 019, but not sure whether its prepaid, postpaid on line based. have tried contacted the service providers themselves, however due to issues of "confidentiality" of details pertaining to the ownership of the number (regardsless of how errant they have been). I was made to understand that even the submission of a police report is not sufficient to attain the said privilige.

thus the move to obtain through ulterior means. so kalu ade any lubang, kindly let me know. don't worry, there will no violence.
yet...

yours appreciatively,
moz.

p.s. whats your the no. plate chief - today wednesday la midweek draw beb...itchy to take..together with premo's plate.

Bernard: oooh.... thanks bro. Appreciate the gesture of keeping some food for me, but not necessary dude. If got i belasah, if takde, no worries man.

AD: Macha.... your car me know cannot catch... have tried many times on the road.
Once me spotted this Fiat Coupe on the highway and decided to test power...The fooker played with me like as if i got chance, then Zoom.... fooker speeds off like a fooking cheetah on steroids.
WTF.... just slumberly go back to middle lane and buat tak tau-lah... what else to do. :-)
