Well said, Ian!
Spotted in the Guardian today, an interview with a real LFC No9 - Ian Rush. He had this to say:
Where's your favourite destination? Malaysia – I go there every year. The people are friendly, the scenery's lovely. You have to go. I took my family last year and they fell in love with it as well.
Yer welcome around these parts anytime!

Whoaaa...coming from a world football legend, this really made me proud to be a Malaysian. Eh btw, Arsenal and Liverpool will be kicking some balls here in July. I'm planning to camp outside the hotel where the Gunners will be staying. Hope to get some pictures of the players and perhaps tell a certain mr Denilson to buck up or fuck off. STRAIGHT IN HIS FACE!
kerp: maybe ye should try explaining to Mr Wengerlingam the need to loosen them purse strings a little . . .
tuan balglieash / kerpene wengerlingam,
'....Where's your favourite destination? Malaysia – I go there every year. The people are friendly, the scenery's lovely. You have to go. I took my family last year and they fell in love with it as well...'
inside, i'm right there. and i'm sure everyone one of us do feel that tinge of proudness. yer talkin' Ian "99% Sure Goal" Rush here. and he said M to the A, malayssshhuuhh.
yet, yu can't seem to help wondering, where does he find this all round friendly people. people who don't give you the eye from head to toe, just because you look er...non-white? haha. up in the east coast? sarawak...or..sabah ba?
yeap, thats got to be it sabah ba..
can't argue with the good point on scenery though. ( a good recommendation for a road trip - east west highway grik-jeli - awesome). italia-with-one-nissano entourage perhapsh? :)
to follow-up here's another interesting quote:
"....form is temporary, class is permanent..." - k.dalgish on jC.
could not have said it better, and it's my motto for the weke (if i ever had any that is..mwahhaha)
have a good week ahead dudes!
appreciatively,
moz.
Muahahahaha...Wengerlingam, now where did that come from? Kalau Rajagopal ada resemblance sikit la. Yea, maybe i should tell Wenger to swap Squillaci for Agger...ok ka bro? hehehehe...
Mozz, for all you know Mr Rush was actually referring to Kajang...hehehehehe
If Rushies not careful, he may find himself the star of a cheesy 'Malaysia - Truly Asia' promo ad for British market...with Ng Yen Yen doing a joget with him!
bernard: the joget scene is a masterstroke mwahahhahhaha
kerp: can't be kajang la dei...no "friendly" people there. at least no more. mwahhaha
btw, have been keeping a tab on wilshere. gem of a player. easy on the eyes and a pleasure to watch.
Bernard, Yen Yen should try Adebayor...kihkihhh...
Re: Wilshere - Fabregas who again? Muahahahahaa...
Btw, apparently a certain Balotelli has never heard of Wilshere. Its ok bcos i dont expect an idiot to know much anyway.
cayalah Ian Rush!
Balaji..the fans here are quite passionate bout their futttbah...
and we know howto appreciate and respect our football legends well + our malaysian hospitality and our charm...that's a great combo..

anba: Maiden gig review in the pipeline!
Death Angel - KL? Was thinking of going to Siam fer their gig. Much rather watch them than Morbid Angel.
