hahhahahha...hilarious. i actually imagined Optimus Prime dancing himself silly. i know TATA would be considering such good idea for their upcoming ad....hehehe..

hello juande ramoz,

i tell you it could have been much better. bloody that argentinian midget just had to play a party-pooper. really shitty la...again, IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER and put a real dent on their confidence for the next match.

Erm, yes that was rather funny. But allow the jaded advertising professional in me to politely burst the collective bubble.

That was a spoof of one the ads that were part of an actual campaign for Citroen a year ago, now aptly dubbed the 'Dancing Transformer' series.

Here's the youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xekVn7fILTc

And yes, there was no ad specifically done for India. That was just a product of shoddy editing and someone with just too much time on their hands :)

But I'm sure it must've been funny to most of you - so kudo's to Bala. I've just seen tooo many predictable versions of this ad, done to death.

premo: Boooooooo sama dia!

moz: pls see Kerp's TQ note to you to further enchance yer Monday.

kerp: U fookers better make it count woi! Got a feeling City were also half hearted against u lot; better u than having to listen to their scum neighbours talking shite!

JonC / Senorita / Anba : Glad u enjoyed it! Hilarious. Although Premo says it wasn't an official ad fer India market; kudos to the fppker who did this. Fooking excellent work!

Haha yes I know I must sound like a fookin wet blanket/gloomy guss. Can't help it - monday morning blues topped with a comedown after the alcoholocaust that was the week before.

Anyways cheers and here's Gong Xi Fatt Choy to Bala n family and all fellow Chinese blog mates on AD! Balik kampung sihat dan selamat!!

the abeh kerpov-balakov connection (herein referred to as "the franchise")

mwahahahahahahahhahahhahahahahhahhahahhahahhahahahhaha...
bro..yu know what...i get this sinking feeling..yu may be sickeningly right for a damn gooners fan la...maybe we are eternally damned for some reason...could be bill nicholson's spirit not being put to rest..or at peace..at THE LANE..or some other shite la *sighhh*...
beh, kawe..pening sunggoh beh..

but on a lighter note...the football being played on that day...in a long-forgotten way...enthralled me to a certain extent. that's all i want to see mate..good exhilarating goosebump inducing football.
btw...in a positive mode of thought i.e. embracing/ emulating the fergie wa-ta-raa-pap-pa eh!...taraapappaaa eh! concept...it may have been a blessing in disguise...particularly on occasions where there had been a win further down the road...mwahhaha...allo geng WHAT YOU EXPECT LA...at least shaved off 2 points under their armpits whatttt..kire okay la tu..what yu expect la bro...win and see them lounge atop the table?:)))

as i said..kill dem in fACUUUUP. then make sure lose to either ...no no...better do go there...the franchise might not take any prisoners *gulP*

dear franchisees,

one more thing i'd like to quip before i get my snaggly arse out of here...

why is it every single bloody time..time and time again...whenever THEY (i.e. heavyweights) lose...it's always THEM "slippin" up...and NOT THEM getting an arsewhooping or..trounced; bamboozled...or or..hang on..ah..now i see the light..
i can feel who...got bamboozled....

moz: Was watching 'Up Close' on ESPN yesterday. The great Ronnie Whelan said something that sent shivers down me spine - "Liverpool today are just like Spurs in the 80s, win a cup or two but without the quality for title challenge . . ."

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

This is an old ad that was made about 2 years ago in France. Only the music is different.

Well edited to fit Indian music, I must say

senorita.. said...

hey off topic for a bit...

but is it a trend in the advertising world now to use animations/cartoons in the advertisements?

i seem to notice quite a no. of ad like that

Unknown said...

Senorita: Yup indeed. The past 5-6 years has seen different styles of illustration, animation and mixed media arts re-emerge as a strong trend in advertising campaigns.

This is in no small part due to the ever growing interest and development in arts and design street/youth culture - whether it be in fashion/music/movies etc... The boundaries are already blurring and melting into many different fusions.

It was just a matter of time before the slumbering corporate behemoth called advertising in the 90's got rudely awakened by these everchanging trends and had to adapt and stay relevant to the times or die a rapid death.

oi bala, give us some credits la. if there was one person who played half-heartedly, it would have been cliche. apparently he was seen to be very charitable that afternoon. real jerk this fella.

mozzzz...

sorry geng but i'm always being hard on you guys. the last minute equalizer made it worse.

fergie said it was a point gained instead of 2 points dropped. that should be a compliment to juande and co. from my view point spurs fucking blew IT!! you guys are pushing for one of the 3 eufa spots (no pun intended) and if you keep dropping points spurs may just be another middlesbrough!

kahkahh...
