my 4 yr old nephew is autistic - and I take my hat off to my cousin sis and her hubby the pains they go to - now their 1 yr old daughter is mimicking her older brother altho is is diagnosed not suffering from autism.

1 whole days with these 2 kids, my entire household was topsy turvy and exhausted ... they don't know their own strength and the number of push down whack bruises my girls had at the end of the day left them refusing to go near their cousin. Even I had some myself leave alone his apologetic parents.

Have been reading up and there's even a training provided on how to live with children who are autistic - made me realise how little support Malaysian parents actually get for this.

And its nothing as romantic as Rain Man - watching Dustin Hoffman and Keanu Reeves ... its heartbreaking to say the least ...

AD will share the info as well on me blog ... and I do know Dr. Alvin via another group.
