Goodbye Jose

Breaking news! The self-styled 'Special One' has left the Bridge; or rather he was sacked. Initial reports hint at an almighty bust up between him & Roman after the lacklustre 1-1 draw with Rosenberg.

Fer Fook's Sake is sad to see this colourful character leave the English game. Although he has gotten up the noses of many Kopites over the years, I have always felt they were just manoeuvres to deflect attention away from his squad (unlike the malice ridden pronouncements of Alex Ferguson).

So who do y'think will be the replacement? Hiddink? Ramos? Please feel free to make yer comments / predictions here.

PS: Biggest beneficiary are Man Utd as the big game on Sun - Man U v Chelsea. Talk bout bad fooking timing!!!

PSS: Please enjoy the fooking hilarious parody vid above. Quite possibly reflects the conversation just prior Roman wielding the big axe . . .

I share your sentiments. So the last thing we have to remember him by is his eggs analogy.

Errrr..... taking Mourinho in as the next manager is pushing it abit too far. Nevertheless, all the best to him and he deserves respect. The EPL will be less colorful without his analogies and comments.

No more rants from the Special One then. Have heard the song on the radio last year when Manvir put it up on his show. Conspiracy theorists will have it that the only reason he's leaving at this juncture just before the ManUre game is because.....he's being lined up as Sir Alex 'Don't Hit Me, I'm an OAP' Ferguson. Just a theory but does it sound far fetched...?

I actually think he's gunning fer the England job. Smart money's on that or a move to one of the big Italian teams - Juve, Inter or Roma.
He will be missed. . . eggs & all.

jose is gone, jose is gone, jose is gone..

to be honest, it's the best piece of news i've heard all year.

yeah, i am going to miss him. i always look forward to hear his post-match interview, the things that made me laugh and his quote of the week. when he opened up his mouth, we could see he spoke from the heart.

his air of arrogance helped somehow to protect his players. it's something like, "ok just between you and me and don't you ever touch my players."

two things i hold respect for him are his man-management skills and tactical know-how.

hmm..i wonder who is the special manager after the 'special one' to be at the bridge?

the job is like russian roulette...there's big brother watching over you and at times with a gun at the head in every match.

yep, don't rule out the possibility jose will succeed the managerial post when sir alex retires. i can't see anyone else with such big ego & character.

Hey there, finally made it here!!

I hear the delusional one is going back to Portugal and working in the national setup. Possibly coaching the national team soon.

If the English FA was smart they would snap him up and get rid of McClaren.

Nice work here.

mr d: welcome to Fer Fook's Sake & hope we will see u in these parts regularly. Have u checked out the my-rawk blog?

Shah: Yup, u r rite there. The fact he was sacked despite the success will not inspire confidence in next candidate.
Also think current squad will disintegrate as people such as Lamps, Drogs & Terry are hardcore Jose supporters. Will probably decide to fook off elsewhere now & leave the team to the likes of Ballack, Sheva & other misfiring misfits to call the dressing room shots.
