Power to the Macha!

Indians - no power in M'sia? Siapa cakap?

Fer Fook's Sake has, on more than one occasion, hinted that the Indian population has been extremely marginalised in this country. They are a people without a voice; third class citizens devoid of any semblance of power etc (MIC is a fooking toothless organisation & Samy is just a token figure on the cabinet who's sole purpose is to make everyone else laugh with his toupe & ill-fitting designer suits).

Just last month, huge groups of Indians gathered peacefully at Putrajaya to voice their concern over their present status & somewhat bleak future (although the crowds were substantial, none of the local media deemed it important enough to carry the story).

But then this little gem (above) of a video appears on youtube. In it senior lawyer Datuk VK Lingam is (allegedly) instructing the Chief Justice Tan Sri Ahmad Fairuz over the phone on who to appoint as judges. Former DPM Anwar Ibrahim has said this conversation (allegedly) took place in 2002 and he is calling fer an investigation (yeah, right . . . they gonna listen to you, a disgraced sodomite).

But my point is that Fer Fook's Sake has been wrong to undermine the Macha's political connections & this video is ample proof of a Macha pulling some seriously well-connected strings. I mean to see a Macha instructing the CJ on judicial appointments just filled me bosom (& very Indian potbelly) with pride. 'Caya la!

On the surface, Indians are just a minority with an ever receding voice in the corridors of power. Behind the scenes, one phone call & the judiciary is in the pocket. Power or what!?! Respect la, Macha . . .

PS: Ironically , many in the legal profession have been quietly grumbling bout the majority of appointments being Malays - "where are all the Indian judges?". But now you know who is the puppet master . . . allegedly . . .

Oi!! Copy my post izzit??

Anyway, how do you like the part when he mouthed off that "...we're doing this for the PM & for the country, not for ourselves..." bit?? For those of you not familiar with the legal fraternity, you can get a full transcript & the cast of characters mentioned from the Bar Council website, malaysianbar.org,(done like a movie review no less!!).

These shameful shenanigans have been rumoured since Tun Saleh Abas' sacking in 1988 but with this video, it seems to prove as true the allegations & rumours circulating all these while. And what have we heard so far from our eloquent Law Minister Nazri? Well its none of the fire & brimstone we heard when the namewee Negarakuku video surfaced and insists that “There needs to be a proper channel (for the video to be investigated and) for me to call for an explanation”. Well namewee didn't get to see any such 'proper channels' did he?

AG Wahab Patail has started the cover up & PR exercise by stating amongst other things, that no criminal offence was revealed from the "monologue" but that he is seeking further opinion. He's the country's top advocate for f#@k's sake, who the bloody hell is he gonna get a 2nd opinion from??

Shit has hit the fan but these buggers still act like nothing's happened. Well I'd say that if you're already a piece of turd, what difference does another piece falling on you make??

Bernard: Not copy, bro, influenced. I was just about to write a post regarding the peaceful Indian demo in Putrajaya lamenting the state of the Macha population in our beloved country when your posting alerted me to this show of power.

Yup, I was wrong. Macha ada kuat la.

I like the part where he says, "if I don't do this work, all my other work will be useless . . . Ha ha ha!" Cheeky bastard or what!?!

Senorita: Yeah, posted this early this morning around 2am. Just haven't bothered to fix time settings. TQ fer being so vigilant.

Oh yeah, one more thing, senorita, Ananda Krishna is Kotek ie Ceylonese - they do not consider themselves to be Indian.

Sort of like how Taiwanese would be offended if u said they were the same as mainland Chinese . . .

Some lawyers have suggested stern action needs to ba taken, one even suggesting a march towards the palace of justice to demand action from the govt.

Fer Fook's Sake awaits with bated breath as to the action that will be taken . . .
The good name of the courts as Bernard pointed out has been sullied since the venerated DrM removed Tun Salleh Abas in 1988.

Yes, there WILL be a march organised by the Bar Council from the Palace Of (IN)Justice to the PM's Office in Putrajaya at 11am, Wednesday 26/9/07 to hand over a Memorandum calling for a Royal Commission Of Inquiry, not only into the video, but generally into the sad state of affairs plaguing the Judiciary since 1988. Doris & I will be there. Care to join us?? Can give you a lift...
