What a load of bollocks . . .

RE: Liverpool v Birmingham

Once again, most Kopites will be getting that sinking feeling that our league challenge might just be over before Nov (again!). Our third scoreless draw (including Porto in Europe) on the trot not only means there is now daylight between us & other rivals at the top; the goal scoring problems from last season has yet to be resolved (Derby was just a fooking smokescreen plus they were diabolically rubbish as the Gooners highlighted again this weekend) .

Though we are unbeaten thus far, the fooking crap footie on display is sure to send shivers down the spine of even the most optimistic supporter (Lester "Quadruple" Francis?). Rafa's squad rotation policy does not seem to be working as the team looks disjointed & dare I say it . . . dispirited.

I actually agree with Rafa's rotation policy but it is his job to make sure that whichever starting XI is picked, they go out & produce some decent fooking football!

If we can't beat the effing Brummies at Anfield, what hope do we have when we meet tougher opposition such as Blackburn & West Ham away from home (the latter incidentally the game in hand).

This has all the fooking hallmarks of that infamous 2002/2003 11 game winless streak written all over it. I know this may sound overly pessimistic & some would say it is not panic stations yet (& I genuinely hope I am wrong), but the shite footie we are playing does not instill confidence; never mind fear in the opponents . . .

And before everyone starts labelling me an ungrateful oink, remember the cardinal rule in football management - "You are only as good as yer last game."

On this evidence, well . . .

RE: Man Utd v Chelsea

So far, the two biggest games of the season have been decided by poor refereeing decisions. LFC v Chelsea & this game was all about the man in black. What bollocks!

Why did the ref deem it fit to immediately brandish the red card at Mikel? From that moment on, the entertainment value of the contest just fooking plummeted . . .

This is not just a sour grapes rant cos Man Utd won, it was expected after Jose's removal. But as a genuine football fan, I am beyond irritated that so many games are being ruined by the wankers in black. The refs have no right to decide the outcome of the game & I fervently hope something is done soon.

Welcome to the EPL Avram Grant! Where all the calls and extra time are going to go to a "certain" team.

Yes very frustrating but lets not press the panic button just yet. Birmingham did play well enuf to get their point & we can't deny them that. We've been around long enough to know things can change in a matter of days, let alone weeks. Lets see what happens by Dec/Jan and a more accurate picture of our season's destiny will reveal itself.

Hi!

I understand the frustration we could feel when the team is not playing well.

A lot of blame has been put on Benitez's shoulder but I think an equal amount, if not more, should be bear by the players because it's them who determine the game with their tackles, shots, runs, etc.

One thing caught me in your post is on the prospect of Liverpool facing the likes of Blackburn and West Ham after a dismal performance against Birmingham.

Good or not, football can't be measured as such. If so, it's simply a match and the rest are merely calculations.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa 2-1,
Aston Villa vs Everton 2-0,
Does it mean Liverpool will definitely win against Everton by 4-0 or so?

It's not as bad a period as lots would like to think! Ditch the mood, bring in the beers and cheers for the next match!

Afif & @dam: Fer Fook's Sake welcomes you to our little community. Hope you will also take the time to check out the Malaysian Red & White Kop blog (link is here).
Firstly, yes, in Rafa we trust. But we have a right to grumble when the football is this dire. We should never become like the cartoon-like magpies who are still singing when 5-0 down just to prove they are "the best fans in the world". Bollocks 2 that!
Secondly, I am not measuring it by way of scoreline & anything can happen in football. But the way we are playing right now, we are going to struggle against teams like Blackburn & West Ham.
Am not jumping on any anti-Rafa bandwagon but I am scepicl he has learnt well. He should now realise that to win the league, we need a flying start. So perhaps we should stick to a trusted line up before rotating later in the season when fixtures pile up.
Anyways, TQ fer dropping by & we hope to see u around here regularly.

I believe in Rafa and I hope all the KOPs will too. All we need is just a little patient (Guns N' Roses rawk!!!)
