The Mancunian Candidate

Chelsea urge Israeli ban rethink (Times Online and Agencies )
Malaysia may relax their ban on Israeli citizens to allow Chelsea's pre-season tour to go ahead, according to the country's deputy prime minister. Chelsea have pencilled in a match against the Malaysian national team as part of a mini Asian tour in July but have said Avram Grant, their Israeli coach and midfielder Tal Ben Haim would have to be allowed into the country.

Now Najib Tun Razak, the deputy prime minister has said the ban may be lifted for the Chelsea pair. "Chelsea are not my team but it's definitely good for local football," Najib, a Manchester United supporter, said. "I'm not sure what the decision should be yet but it would be a pity if politics got in the way of sports.
"There is a travel ban. We'll have to study the situation first, but I would like to see Chelsea playing here." Malaysia does not have diplomatic ties with Israel and citizens must get special permission to visit the country. In 1997, the government allowed Israel to compete in a 22-nation cricket tournament though the decision led to a series of demonstrations in Kuala Lumpur. Peter Kenyon, Chelsea's chief executive, said last week they would not tour without Grant. He said: "We clearly could not travel without our top coach. It will make no sense to travel without a key member of the coaching staff."

Fer Fook's Sake says: No this is no April Fool's joke; found the report at Times UK online sports pages. Me wonders if the same policy would apply if Liverpool decided to pay these shores a visit. Would the powers that be insist that Yossi Benayoun be left behind?

Wouldn't surprise me now that we know that the Prime Minister in waiting is a FOOKING SCUMMER! No real surprise that innit, complete bastards like him would support them woudn't he? Me is just glad he didn't say he was a Kopite!!!

Yet another reason to NOT support the next BN administration after Badawi steps down. Nuff said!

ps: Quite a clever headline don't you think, even if me has to say so meself (*smug*) . . .

Haha...was thinking about this when I first heard of it!

Khairy got his Chelsea Jersey when it was first agreed that Chelsea will come...

Then Najib, as a M*n U*d fan, was put on the spot when the issue arises.

Conclusion: Must be a Khairy and Bodohwi plot to test Najib's loyalty to Bodohwi!!!

Seriously though, the thing that made me laugh was the fact he said this will be good for the local football...

I just don't see it how...

People fill the stadium to see the Chelsea stars perform and in hope of trashing the Malaysia Select XI...and how is that suppose to be good for the local football?

These exhibition matches in every pre-season is making me sick...I know the end score line even before it is played....like always...it will be a three goal margin at most and usually it will be 3-0 for the visitors...

Who gets the cheers? The visitors
Who gets more money? The visitors

Why and how is it then good for the local football???

Joke...

And yes, if it was Liverpool, probably Benayoun will have to jump out of the plane when it reaches the Thailand border!

Although I have yet to see Liverpool live, I would rather wait and earn my way to Anfield than seeing them come to Bukit Jalil!

I don't think I will enjoy an exhibition match! Liverpool can rest assured they don't have to travel here just to gain more support or to retain the supporters.

Winning will do!

if i were a jewish player, i'd fucking protest and refuse to play in malaysia whether they lift the ban or not.

besides it's not like the match is going to be critical or anything like that. at least not on a technical level. perhaps it's to give them a psychological boost. maybe a pesta goal, to borrow your words.

imo, you can switch mancunian with mongolian.

I'm waiting to see how the extremists groups will react to this.

Oh and AD...we may not see our beloved LFC not because of Yossi but because of Kuyt and Babel. They are Dutch.

I will not be suprised!!

DPM Najib "Ulan Bator - My 2nd Home" Razak has long been a known Scum as is Tony "Look Ma! I'm Flying" Fernandez. The latter too obvious what with his planes plastered with their ugly mugs.

Khairy "I'm A Clean Politician" Jamaluddin? He's a fooking Chelski scum, no doubt influenced by his partner in crime Jason "I'm actually talented you know" Lo. But if Roman I-had-a-sandwich had pumped his roubles into, say, Kettering Town (at 1 time managed by Paul "I'm not an alcoholic / crazy / a woman abuser* (* depending on the time of the day, delete as appropriate)" Gascoigne, & gained promotion to EPL & won it in double quick time, you can bet your bottom ringgit he'll say he's their No.1 fan faster than you can say "What? KJ's clean???"

As for Chelski's "Let's go to the Far East & Make Some $$" Tour 2008, you'll probably be hearing from the minister, Azalina "I'm not a lesbo, I only look manly" Othman, about how the tour will be good for showcasing Malaysia as a tourist destination, the revenue generated etc etc. End result? No problem Mr. Avram & Tal, we're kosher too!!! Shalom!!

Mark : Extremist groups?? You're extremist enough if you're a Scum, Chelski or The Arse fan so don't think we'll be hearing too much from them.

bala,
as a footnote, this issue of an exemption for the 2 jewish players to enter the country for the game is another "cakap tak serupa bikin" example of Umno/BN.

the jewish presence in the country has been happening all along. marks & spencer for instance was founded by a jewish immigrant and i'm sure still has significant jewish interests.

parkway holdings (s'pore) that bought into pantai (healthcare) has significant jewish interests.

sir elihu lauterpacht, a world renowned QC representing Malaysia at the ICJ (for the horsburgh lighthouse/pedra branca island dispute with s'pore) is a prominent jewish personality.

i wonder why umno didn't object to it? maybe an exemption was given.

i read that michael dell is also jewish. maybe we should kick dell out of penang.

cakap tak serupa bikin.

and we gonna have an idiotic suicide bomber making his appearance amongst 20-23 chelsea fans thronging the stadium.

on the other hand, a certain No3 should be banned totally from football,...for cheating.

The Mancunian Candidate Aka The Minister of Offense...Najib supportin MAN U

By the way Brothers, ...have you wondered why is
MAN U is very popular in Asia..
is it because of marketing, hype, or is it just plainly...because they are good ?
The Arse Has spoken...Smelly rite...but that the truth..7

senorita.. said...

jesus is jew?

and am very sure that Man U is so popular because of marketing.. they sell the brand name MAN U.. make believe that they are the best and that when u support them o buy their products you get only the best... which is of course deceiving... but well, marketing's all abt deceiving ppl into blieving what you're selling is d best

anba: Great one when you thought aloud bout whether there could be another race superior to the Koteks @ Ceylonese? Ha ha ha ha! Fooking good one!

But dey, re Man U, the point being is that they have so many supporters here is simply there are winning at the moment. Reemeber the plethora of Blackburn jerseys on these shores some time ago?

Man Utd being good is just the tip of the iceberg bro, if it was just about pure footballing nirvana, Barca a couple of seasons ago, Milan & Arsenal too would have MASSIVE fan bases. But no, it is because the scum spend trillions on marketing & had the stroke of luck in the form of a certain Becks. He alone made sure at least a 30% increase in numbers (why? Coz asians are stupid?)

RE: Yahudi conspiracy - Hullo, our govt are OPENLY anti-Jewish to the point of ALWAYS refering to Israel as REGIME ZIONIST la.

But as Nick M pointed out, biasa la, always exceptions to the rule when it suits them. Isn't the architect behind the twin towers a Yahudi? Yes? No?

errrrrrrr phraind ... me ManU all the way la.

But the policy is way dumb ok! that I have to say to that. And to think we'll have boat loads of half baked imbeciles reacting without even knowing why other than the player being Yahudi .. GOD! How embarrassing!!!

as for knocking ManU - come on dude it's a game, the ball is round, we scream and cheer them on, they get paid big bucks to kick that stupid ball around, win or lose the teams still make mega bucks - we goons end up killing each other!

SHITES man ... sense and logic.

Dear Anita George,

"To some people, football is a matter fo life & death. I am very dissappointed with that attitude, its far more important than that." - Bill Shankly

That's why Scum fans like you will never understand & think its just a game.
Kopites love the team coz we love football. And we see it fer what it can bring to people's lives - pride, joy & sheer escapism from the drudgery of everyday life. You Scum only see it as a opportunity to brag when you win & to shrug it off when you lose. Sigh . . .
Yer statements once again underline the very core difference between Kopites & Scummers . . .

And I'd anyday be a 'Scummer' over being a Kopite *grin* - but having said that, when do I get my next pot of paandi curry :)) ... food first everything else later :)) - true oinkster that I am!
