Rich club, poor club . . .
Money, get away.
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay.
Money, its a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I'll buy me a football team.
Money, get back.
I'm all right jack keep your hands off of my stack.
Money, it's a hit.
Dont give me that do goody good bullshit.
I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a lear jet.
Money, it's a crime.
Share it fairly but dont take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today.
But if you ask for a raise its no surprise that they're
Giving none away.
"Money" from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
Me is still fooking reeling from the news that Man City is in line to become the next Chelsea. And whilst me will not begrudge the long-suffering City fans their moment in the sun, it pains me that me beloved club looks like its gonna get left behind in the money game. No thanx to the two fooking Yanks & to David Moores & Rick Parry fer selling us out . . . sigh . . .
While City's (probable) rise will shake up the footballing heirachy, me is afraid that we are just a couple of steps from doing a fooking Newcastle . . . or better yet . . . LEEDS!
Anyway, here's the vid to that Floyd classic. Enjoy . . .

we're rich but stingy club. 3 trophy-less season and counting. if another one fall short, then arsenal's directive board may have to give another look at Wenger's transfer policy.
*missing on alonso could be costly. the likes of denilson and ramsay are simply too light-weight to cover cesc.
oh, like as though you guys care about arsenal...kah3.
Kerp: Really don't understand Wenger stubborness in dipping into the transfer kitty. While me admires his commitment to grooming young talent, an addition or two would greatly bolster the young uns & their confidence.
Looks like another season of struggle fer both our clubs . . . sigh
I guess some people are just stubborn as in Wenger's case. Agree that he has done a great job grooming and spotting youngsters. But you still need that one or two who will just lift your team to a higher notch.
LLT: Unlike us eh, but one or two to lift us a notch, instead genuis Rafa plays em out of position!
yah buy a 20m striker and play them on the wing. great management skills there.
but good management is what a great boss like wenger did with henry all those years ago and look how it paid off big time.
sometimes me thinks rafa is trying too much to milk a rock. i guess we'd be really lucky if we're in 4th notch this season.
