Ban good fer HINDRAF (Re Malaysiakini)

The late, great Frank Zappa once pointed out that every time the moral minority wanted to ban some form of music, the tune or genre has gone on to be even stronger & more popular. Notable examples include Jerry Lee Lewis's 'Great Balls of Fire', Frankie Goes to Hollywood's 'Relax', Sex Pistols' 'God Save the Queen', etc etc.

So how do you think the Indian community going to react to HINDRAF being declared illegal? (http://malaysiakini.com/news/91339) The machas are just gonna fold their sarongs & have a stout or ten to forget the problems they are facing?

The ragamuffin thambis from Sentul, Klang & that wonderful Compton-like ghetto known as Kg Gandhi gonna just get on their kap chais & say, "Ah, fook it, we tried. Now its back to good old crime to climb out the pit of poverty"?

What is to stop them from forming another organisation? What will they resort to next when some hot headed govt servant decides to tear down another Hindu temple fer fun?

Me thinks this is just another serious miscalculation by the wankers in power. Just goes to show what kind of arseholes run this country & what kind of moron supports them. Instead of engaging them & trying to solve the matter, the ISA & other legalities are brought out to shut the rakyat up.

Sadly, many have forgotten that was how UMNO started - as a vehicle to go against the imperialist Brits with marches, demonstrations & civil disobedience. You can see fer yerself just how powerful that party has become. Who's to say the banning of HINDRAF may not lead to an even more powerful organisation taking its place?

This is just another example of how out of fooking touch this govt is with the people. While Anwar fails to deliver on his Sep16 promises, BN continues to shoot itself in the foot. Me got a feeling BN is gonna bury themselves, if not soon, then later . . .

ps: Also see Chua Jui Ming claiming The Star is BIASED in its reporting! And Najib stating that the sms scandal is a private matter!! Aha ha ha ha ha . . . not quite sure whether to laugh or fooking cry . . .

AD: I think the machas as you put it are now aware that there are eyes and ears beyond this fooking morons that run this country

And if they bloody miscalculate their actions the fooking wankers in power are right going to walk with their arrogant arses into what is almost de javu.

Maybe we are the 'ghetto' people in this country but even the 'ghetto' have rights ... but can some please tell them machas the next time they set up a party/movement don't la go fooking isolate yourselves with religious connotations (yes yes the wanking fookers in powers always use it but really we're smarter now aren't we???)

State the facts and fgures, substantiate those when the eyes and ears that matter hear and don't do no tamil movie song dance dooshum dooshum sequence - show them the true meaning of what Makkal Sakti can do to change the course of history

(me is fooking fedup working with bloody fookers who all drama drama - in the end no better than the wankers in Putrajaya!)

kerp: Yeah, & yet incredubly we have people like Rocky's Bru condemning DAP's move to sue Utusan as stiffling the freedom of press.

WTF?!!?!

akuani: Agreed. But the religious connotation is coz the moevement started in response to the continued destruction of Hindu temples in the country.

anba: But of course, at the same time, me knows many Indians who think BN are doing the right thing . . .

senor balarrress,

first, it was south-west vietnam, i response to the perennial "malaysia, where the fook is that?". that killed me.mwhahhahhaha.

secondly, the term "compton-like" ghetto simile in quaint comparison with kg. gandhi; that killed me again, just as i was i was about to clingfilm meself to boredom :))heeeehe. never ventured to view in kg.gandhi, ikan emas, lindungan and the contributary territores in the vicinity in the vein of south LA or south central. :)) nice one. probably here more dasyhat kot considering folks tilting on the desperation wave now. *sigh*

re: obituary, like kerp i'm guilty of buyin 'em pasar malam T-s dude. you know whats the ironic part dude? fer a band that were probably shitfooked to hear that they razorgrazed sounds are well and fine in malaysia, they sure sold a lot of chong kai T's man. them and kreator. i could have sworn at one time i had been wearing them until..er...i grew..no sorry, it grew out of me.
but yes, i have heard their sound mostly on comps. it does have its own trademark sound in the vein of entombed, carcass, sep. buka sajaa sudaa tau wa cakap lu. but i never got my lazymaltfilled arse around to it. thanks for the link.

lastly, i noticed you DID NOT mentioned the words FRANK ZAPPA
and that penis-headed botak in the same breath, line, paragraph and hell the whole article. THANK YOU.

Not sure if this ban make sense as HINDRAF is not a legal organisation in the first place.

As a moderate Indian Malaysian, I don’t agree or support HINDRAF (maybe one of the few Indian who do not support HINDRAF in Malaysia).

No, I’m not a BN Supporter. How many have actually read their memorandum, speeches or attended their gatherings?

The approach, writing and rhetorics incites hatred towards others. They are another organisation hiding behind race, religion, temples and schools. Most of their arguements are flimsy and does not make much sense.

JonC: Exactly. Fooking double standards as usual. Hence me shock Rocky's Bru has decided to defend Utusan in the name of a free press. Utusan was never a newspaper. In fact it is just another govt mouthpiece but one that plays up UMNO's racial politics to the hilt. Fook em . . .

Moz: Good luck v stoke city tonite. And pls do download the Obituary LP. Me knows me says this all the time but its well worth yer time. Premo? That fella too busy hunting you ng cikus to bother with old farts like meself la. And yes, me couldn't stomach any more of the blardi botak's pronouncements either.

balan: Welcome to FFS. Banning HINDRAF means the authorities ae refusing to allow it to legally register as a society. Geddit? So anything they do from now on, whether its a rally or jus sitting in a room together constitutes an illegal gathering.

As fer yer argument bout HINDRAF playing up the race card, well, sorry dude, in case you haven't noticed BN & UMNO in particular seem to think it is their exclusive prerogative to do so.

While two wrongs don't make a right, HINDRAF at least had the galvanising effect of mobilising the Indians & they showed that their votes mattered in the last GE.

If anything, HINDRAf's brief tenure on our political landscape had the important impact of blowing that dinosaur of a party - MIC - into fooking smithereens.

Anyways, you are always welcome to leave yer comments here. A different perspective is the very lifeblood of democracy. Somehing BN & UMNO don't fooking understand.

Balan: now aren't you a familiar face back from HBOS, HDPM ahhahah ... small world.

I think there are many Malaysian Indians who did not agree with the HINDRAF way either. But to an extent, someone had to do what had to be done - enough of being marginalised.

I'd have to agree with AD, HINDRAF did manage to knock MIC right up their arses and sway the voters away from the traditional dacing biru - now they are appealing it seems for the 5 HINDRAF detainees - like anyone in the gomen gives a fook what MIC wants anyways.

Anyhows, AD me thinks with the current developments in the Judiciary, we're still majorly fooked there ...

I still say Kerp for PM man :)) at least we'll get them tantalising adult cable TV **kih kih kih** to numb our disappointments with the fooked up gomen!! (oh wait with Kerp as PM does that mean we all get posts in the cabinet??? I want a few ministries myself :)) have plans **evil evil cackle**)

Hello! It is premo 'ere speaking from the twilight of the netherworld known as advertising. Allow me to offer some non-coherent insights on current matters while I peek from under the rubble of work I'm under:

1) Hindraf Ban. Bad. Why? Well how else are the downtrodden and disenfranchised of our bretheren going to voice out their concerns/opinions/grievances? Shall we just limit it to bar talk then while we drown our genuine problems with that temporary liquid solution to lives troubles? Why not right? It is after all befitting of our already tarnished image as underacheiving, beer swilling louts.

Oh wait! Did I just voice an opinion, albeit a biased and incendiary one?! Quick someone arrest me before I open more minds with intellectual discourse/racial rah rah/ (insert your own defintion here).

2) PKR vs BN: Don't hold your breath. Politicians will be politicians. You can't put lipstick on a pig and expect it to be anything other than. Its a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils. "There is strong shadow where there is much light" - Goethe

3) Obituary rules. Its a fact. So does the 'Crue. Maybe not on the same level of awesomeness but thats just me loving heavier shit and suspicious of dudes in make up and spandex:)

Ok! Over and out

akuani: Kerp fer PM? Yes, why the fook not eh? He's just a porn freak; not an actual porn actor like the new no2 in MCA . . .

premo: welcome back! Ban HINDRAF & something else will arise to take its place. Do not be at all surpised if new entity is even more radical.

ps: Did you download Obituary?

pps: Do me detect a faint whiff of Mozism in yer latest rant?

Balaji:-
i thot all guys are porn freak...not just the almighty kerp...
but may be you know kerp better than me...

Regarding hindraf's stance...i have read their arguments...but i do understand why sometimes it's racial charged etc...
The lawyers uthayakumar and manoharan are well known to represent cases where indian's rights a where under threat..
Mr Manoharan represented the widow of the infamous everest climber who passed away and was refused the rights of being buried as a hindu...
Uthayakumar was involved many cases of indians whom died during police custody... fer example francis udayappan... so these ppl know first hand the situation faced by our communities...
Maybe they amplified things like the Genocide example...but in a paranoid i do see the systematic
decimation of the indians..

Fer example a couple of months ago...me went to UM to see a former student of mine who is now doin medicine there i enquired how many indian are doin medicine now... hew said roughly 9 during the quota bases system you might get atleast 19 indians doin medicine... bout now using the meritocracy system ...the indians have now become the sacrificial lambs... the whole intake of the indian in UM has now shrunk to 135 students..bro...from 500 which was roughly 10 percent of the 5000+ of the total intake...
so roughly 67% of the indians have been successfully reduced ... this is just 5 years...
what about in 10 years...

anba: know something chief? sometimes when i'm drowning in an overzealous vacuum hazing drone, i decide to crossover to blogs like chedet. yes, at times i do regret; at times i get some well-written articles particulary on the workings of a global economy in simple laymen terms. however, when i did read up on his defence cum statement of "disappointment" on the remark by that suspiciously hooked-nose ameno warlord, it got a bit wired up. particularly on how he defended it with 2 cases in point i.e.:
a) about the namewee negaraku incident - about how the nationalistic and religious overtones (or rather overtones) spurred on by this kid who probably just started developing pubic hair - was not met with defiant retailiation by the general population and particularly the malay leaders / politicans and people; and

b) about how racist hindraf's manifesto was and how patient the malay leaders and the malays in general had been tolerant of the nonsensical nuances purported by the said maniefesto (i supposed he has again..annointed himself as the spokesperson for ALL rational sensitive and tolerant malays)

i read his remarks. he was harping on the statement related to genocide and ethnic cleansing. i have read that manifesto in passing as well; now tell me something:
a)would any sane person on this blog or LGL, read that statement and concur with it? be him or her, indian, malay or chinese?
b)2nd point - how dumb could full-fledged praticising lawyers be, performing day-in day out paraphrasing judicial precedents at the top of their heads - how dumb could they actually have been to put a statement across like that? exactly, not so dumb right?
somethin' to bat the eyelids a bit and put an incedeniary frown?

c) now put in the context with the thoughts posted on chedet. again, here you've got a highly developed intellect, a mind that reads and reads widely, a mind that to a certain extent can talk and comment and espouse opinions on probably any topic under the sun gaining silent admiration for his valuable insights - a mind which i would think would have immediately grasped what the whole point of the manifesto was about at the cursory skim of the paper - as would have the lot of us here.

ok ok dude, my point is this. you have drilled THE nuts between the crotch; systematic defection.

i didn't know how to describe it to myself. no 100% its definetely not genocide and no fark no it's a holocaust bend on ethnic cleansing. and no it's not people instigated; that's the sad part seeing leaders goin' around sayin their doing things for their people when you know mostly as a fact that generally the people, the folk themselves are probably the easiest people to get along with sometimes easier than with your own race. *sigh* the psyhocotic play on their own racial psyche is scary.

but i get what yu mean on the university figures, i wouldn't vouch on its accuracy, but trust me, i may seem vehemently biased on this viewpoint, its happening in a lot of quarters and we are the "transit generation" bein exposed to it - you'd only feel it hard if and when you are minority.

thanks. got the definition.

oh btw i agree, ALL GUYS are porn freaks in some what or other, with their own wanton needs and fetishes..mwahhahahaha. not only kerp la. :)

premo: YOU BEER SWILLIN' LOUT YOU..MWAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH GOOD TO KNOW YER KICKING LOUD AND CLEAR AND STILL STRANGLIN' THE FRETS A-LA The YAUUUTHHHH.:))

bala: whiff of mozism?mwahhahahhahaha. thanks fer haulin him in. the clouds are grew today, really grew in me head.*sigh*

appreciatively,
moz.

anba: precisely. Too many people are far too quick to lable HINDRAF as radical extremists without understanding the root of the problem.

Widow of late Everest climber is a case in point. Me has asked many people how they would react if the body of a loved one was forcibly removed & buried as a Muslim.

As Brutal Thruth once growled, "Extreme Conditions demand Extreme Responses . . ."

Re: kerp's viewpoint, i'd like to reiterate herein, that i respect his viewpoint on the man. and my views are in meant in no disrespect to his. having said what i've said, the man had done his job; to survive and consolidate through 2 chuffing global recessions in 10 year cycle gaps - when things could have taken a turn for the worse. the man took a concern, a bother and responsibility to mend the economy with or without ramifications but for the greater part fixed it. every politician will have his critics, i don't know whether i fall or qualify as a valid critic, maybe not even fit to be, maybe just a regular shit stirrer in a blog. but no, i'm not putting him down as a leader to that extent. a teacher who is strict, yells his/her head off and makes me stand out in the hot sun balancing my sejarah book on my head, at the end of the day took a concern and sat down on saturday classes to make sure i pass. no i'm not equating the man to this sweet history teacher of mine; i'm just saying he's not a teacher that would just rather sleep in class.
cheers mate. gotta run on along journey see ya friday.

moz: Sure, kerp is entitled to his opinion. And DrM is still very highly regarded by many Malaysians.

But fer me, his development & progress came at too high a price. Cronyism, unbridled corruption, stifled media, abuse of process, useless judiciary & abuse of ISA have all come back to haunt him & tarnish his legacy.

Like the example you cited. His defence of Ahmad Ismail & belitlling of HINDRAF is very much part of the problem.

DrM is not the solution; he is the problem.

Tak caya? Just ask Badahwi . . .

ps: Sorry to hear about yer lousy weekend. Hope you didn't lose any valuables (ie CDs) during the break in. Anyway, me posted another FREE download to help dispel the monday blues.
