A suitable soundtrack to our times (Brutal Truth: Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses)

Hey, hey, look what me found today! Its the download link to seminal deathgrind band Brutal Truth's debut LP Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses. Older longhairs will remember that this band was formed by ex-Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker in 1990 as he sought to emulate his heroes Napalm Death & Carcass. Brutal Truth marries the extreme ferocity of grindcore with the technical melody of death metal & burns a mighty fooking hole in yer eardrums with its sheer bombast.

Heavy as fook even after all these years. Do take the trouble to check this out as it is one of the best albums to have come out of the genre. Fer those who need a sample, vid is posted below.

To download Brutal Truth's Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses (1990), please click: http://www.turboupload.com/files/get/bmaFS9TtGhfG (password: strigoi)

ps: Me was lucky enough to catch Brutal Truth supporting Fear Factory many moons ago & remembers us jakun Malaysian thrashers forming a little mosh altar in front of Dan Lilker's bass monitor. He looked amused but was less than impressed by the constant flash of our camera!

boss, the name does ring a bell but not their stuff. give us some familiar stuff la, like Darkthrone for example.

btw, one of very few Malaysia's guitar maestros, Samad passed away yesterday. got this info from a friend. have yet to come across any news of his demise.

just a little trivia abt me- the first ever rock concert i attended was of lefthanded's, and that was way back in the mid 80s. no spandex and shit, only High-cut Nike snickers...muahaha...i remember quite clearly watching in awe samad and the legendary Man Kidal strutting out their axe's skills. simply amazing man...Rok, brader!

j or ji: sepultura, ministry, helmet, sonic youth, metallica, faith no more, prong, motorhead, judas priest, maiden are just some of the bands me was privy to watch live. Am not bragging. Some students save up to tour europe, me saved up fer LPs & gigs (& trips to Anfield of course).

kerp: That's very sad. How did he pass on? Samad canna have been very old.

As fer familiar names, don't ya think part of the fun is being introduced to something totally new? (eg Hepcat) As fer Darkthrone, me thinks me burnt you quite a few of their LPs in the folder. Pls check.

Sorry for burst in without prior notice. But the note you jotted down is rather false;

"ps: Brutal Truth holds the Guinness Book of Records fer shortest video ever - 2.49 seconds!!!".

It is actually 'You Suffer' song/video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Z1IGjr2cT0) by Napalm Death that holds the Guinness Book of Records for the title of shortest song/video ever, not this song/video obviously. Thank you.

"So much fer wikipedia"?

Haha... as I'm aware about Napalm Death since aeons ago, I think I do not need wikipedia to search such info about them. You want their e-mail? I have their personal e-mails though.

No offense. :)
