What a load of bollocks!

To all me fellow Malaysians, love or loathe the man, you cannot but help feel fooking cheated as a Malaysian. Whilst our economy is in free fall, the govt has felt necessary to focus its entire efforts in bringing down ONE man. Tak de kerja lain ke?

Our already tainted judiciary & suspect police force is subject to even more ridicule as evidence is manipulated & witnesses disappear. Again, me urges you to make a stand to bring a stop to this fooking shite scenario by doing whatever you (legally) can to throw them Barisan Najis fookers out.

Me leaves you with a press statement from Anwar, if he does get his way & is able to form a new administration, WE WILL HOLD HIM TO HIS WORD!

ps: Poster is taken from the colourful world of Mob's Crib. Also note that police have detained PAS blogger Penarik Beca fer daring to insinuate that the police are mere running dogs of BN & Chinese crime syndicates. Mob's Crib has designed an alternative poster to the 'Malaysia in distress' movement reflecting this abuse of power. Seeing that the upside down flag has offended many people, me urges you to post the alternative image instead (upright left).

This press statement below is by ANWAR IBRAHIM (on Dr Osman Abdul Hamid’s SD that he stands firm by his initial findings):

I promise that under a Pakatan Rakyat government Malaysians will never again be subjected to such gross abuse of executive power as we are again witnessing today. Arbitrary arrest and detention, frivolous investigation and malicious prosecutions shall be a thing of the past.

Police officers and prosecutors who launch conspiracies to defame and humiliate the innocent will be severely punished. The use of police powers as well the office of the Attorney General to persecute political opponents will be criminalized so as to ensure a healthy and vibrant democracy where dissent is not only tolerated but nurtured.

In this regard every Malaysian’s fundamental liberties will be treated as sacrosanct and safeguarded by a truly independent judiciary guided by principles of utmost integrity and an adherence to the spirit of the federal constitution.

The politically motivated trial launched against me will, Insha’Allah, be the last of its kind. No Malaysian will suffer from this cruel injustice ever again.

Yesterday’s events confirm my innocence from the charges that recently surfaced. The medical report and statutory declaration by Dr. Osman Abdul Hamid of the Pusrawi Hospital that surfaced on Thursday shatter lingering doubts as to whether the alleged act ever took place. Dr. Osman’s statement also confirms what we have already stated regarding deplorable actions by the police to fabricate evidence in a manner identical to the manipulation of my case in 1998. Anything short of a thorough investigation into the mishandling of this investigation would further tarnish the credibility of the police.

The doctor’s personal safety is a matter of deep concern to us. Material witnesses in highprofile cases in Malaysia have gone missing in the past such as the PI Balasubramanian. I applaud those brave individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to freedom and justice by coming forward with important evidence, and call upon the authorities to ensure their protection.

Yesterday in court we learned that the prosecution’s case has, in a manner similar to the botched trials of 1998, shape-shifted from a charge of assault to one of a consensual act. The conspiracy launched against me in the final week of June 2008 is falling apart. There is a hasty attempt by some to patch up glaring holes in the complainant’s testimony. This will certainly fail given the preponderance of evidence confirming my innocence.

The Prime Minister has actively involved himself in this matter in an attempt to derail the process of transformational change in Malaysia and stave off his own political demise. But in soiling his hands with this sordid matter he has deepened the crisis within his own administration. His most ardent supporters among the Malays have also expressed their disgust with the matter. Furthermore Prime Minister Badawi now faces investigation by the Anti Corruption Agency for his involvement in corruption and money politics.

The shadow of corruption and mismanagement of the economy darkens the legacy of his Premiership. Prime Minister Badawi has still offered no convincing explanation over the huge profits reaped by his family in the Oil For Food scandal at the expense of dying Iraqis.

I advise those around him to leave the sinking ship of his leadership while there is still a chance to do so.

Pakatan Rakyat’s reform agenda is firmly back on track and the New Dawn for Malaysia is well within reach. We will mount a unified campaign to win in Permatang Pauh with a solid majority encompassing that constituency’s diverse population. I look forward to entering Parliament on August 27th with the support of my friends in the coalition.

We may have to keep flying our flag upside down if PKR forms the government

I think you're not alone in your concern. But do try not to be cynical about it. If Pakatan Rakyat can and does seize power, it doesn't mean that all our problems will be solved. More importantly it means that a 2-party system can or already has taken hold in this country. And I'm sure you know why this is so important for a country like ours to develop into a true Parliamentary democracy. For the first time after 50 years of Independence, we now have a real opportunity for this to happen and we must make the most of it.

Just how much will PAS feature in the running of the country? This is hard to say. But don't forget that of the 3 PR parties, it got the least number of seats in the last GE.

As for PKR MP Zulkifli Nordin, well I'd be concerned if the top leadership of PKR were there. But they weren't. So we should take the cue from people like R. Sivarasa whom I'm sure yo know is a real decent bloke and has been championing human rights causes regardless of race or creed.

So we should keep our sights firmly focused on making a 2-party system a reality. And when the time comes to vote again be it in a snap poll or the next GE, we do the right thing.

Dear Kopite 78,

Am sure you have seen the comments me has left at yer blog.

Am sure you are not so naive to think that Pakatan will solve all ze problems or that me holds that belief either.

Fer starters, like nick says, we need to have a two party democracy fer a proper checks & balance. No more just big opposition but a change in govt to instill some fear in the Barisan Najis pundeks who are completely insulated from reality & do as they fooking please.

Why focus on dicks like that fool anyway? Islamists like him unfortunately exist in PAS, Keadilan & UMNO. A move away from that jihad mentality is going to take some serious doing dude. This mode of thinking is not just prevelant here.

Am a bit surprised of your knee jerk reactions. Notice that every small thing by Pakatan is blown out of proportion. Me complete diasgrees with the actions of them fookheads, but dude, we put up with 50 years of BN shite lar.

If we are to boot BN out, we need to be focussed. Me is nor saying we brush the incident aside, but we focus at the main task at hand.

Lest we forget, unlike BN where MCA & MIC are just toothless rubber stamps, Pakatan has characters like Kit Siang, Karpal, Sivarasa, Tian Chua to argue our side.

Before anyone says they too will be rendered useless in time, me urges you NOT to be fooking presumptous.

And as final cautionary tale - just look at what KHIR FOOKING TOYO is saying la. Can anyone justify his remarks & actions? This oink was the chief minister of the RICHEST state in Malaysia.

Surely that is enough to convince you to support Pakatan & give em a chance.

Why PAS is being stupid? Now they have called for Avril Lavigne's show here to be cancelled. Why cant this idiots understand that international artistes performing here means revenue?

What if they're worst once PR has taken over?

tinesh: Dude, anyone would know that the small minded pricks in PAS have been calling fer all concerts to be banned. Fer alcohol consupmption & pig rearing to be banned etc etc.

This has always been the case.

Now, let's put things into perspectice a bit here, ok?

PAS are part of a three way coalition with diverse ideas. The fact that they have the least number of seats would suggest that should Pakatan get to form a govt, they would not be able to bulldoze their ideas through.

And just so to remind you, when Scorpions were truly hangat, they got banned here as well by BN. Fact is, rockers are only allowed to perform here once they reach retirement age.

And just to remind you of more stupid behaviour, remember the time Minister of Information Mohd Rahmat deicded to impose a blanket ban on ALL local artistes that had long hair? No radio or TV fer Wings, Search et al. Amy Search had to concede defeat & allow this bastard Tok Mat to publicly cut his hair just to protect his rice bowl. How's that fer Malaysia Boleh?

My point is religious zealots exist in all the Malay-based parties.

Unfortunate but it is a FACT.

PAS says that a woman wearing a short skirt is asking to be raped. Compare that to BN who jails Guan Eng instead of the Chief Minister who RAPED a 14-year old.

Dude, it stinks. But like me said to Kopite78, surely you are not expecting ALL the problems to disappear.

Kicking Barisan Najis out is just the FIRST step in the long, long road towards nation building.

AD: Nice points...Couldn't agree with you more. The most common reason i hear from people of why they voted for BN despite all the years of crap... because there is no one else...well now there is.

Again... its amazing how small things that Pakatan does looks like nuclear bombs but actual nuclear bombs set off by BN is viewed as mere fire crakers only. Why is there this bias? Brainwashed??? i think so.

And the case... first it was forceful, not its changed to consensual? what next? isn't it obvious it's a sham?

Anyway, i still feel our dreams of kicking BN off may be short lived... It seems like they are waiting for the correct time to drop DSAI with sodomy case. most probably just as he smells the air of vicotry in the by elections. not hoping for this, but i have a strong feeling this will happen.

And doesn't it just make your blood boil that these fooks can do all this shit in broad daylight in front of your face and still people say nothing and better still... will vote for them again. its like getting pissed on your face and you lap it up with a grin because you want more and agree you should be pissed on again and again. sigh...

Hey guys!! I do see the arguements going both ways but we need to give these PR guys a chance. I've done a pro and con thinggi (Simple one la..) so feel free to add as AD has.
The abuse of power is just going out of control now and reading the newspapers are just making me sick!!
Like kopite78 said, "Is PKR really different from BN"....well..why don't we give them a chance and find out????????

AD: I've got the banker to head to the post office la!!! hehehehe!!
